Ayesha once again renewed Hammer Throw SL record

Thrower Ayesha Maduwanthi set Sri Lanka record of hammer throw for the sixth time in her career with throw of 48.08m at the Thailand open Athletics Championship where he finished fifth.

Maduwanthi trained under former athlete turned coach , Madhawa Bandara Senarath threw 47.93m in her first attempt to erase her own record of 47.92m which set during first national trials in Diyagama. In the next attempt she further increase the distance to 48.08m .

Maduwanthi was already renewed Sri Lanka record four times before she was selected for her maiden international championship this year.
