Nilani set NEW Sri Lanka record to win 3000m st.ch – RMS won the GOLD in Mens

Nilani Rathnayake set a new Sri Lanka record finishing her 3000m st.chase pet event within 10-minute mark at the Asian Games 2018 – Invitation Tournament held in Indonesia.

Nilani is the first Sri Lankan women to run the 3000m st.chase within 10 minutes.

She also won the Silver medal in 1500m at the same tournament one day ago.

meanwhile, RMS Pushpakumara who ran his Personal best in 5000m was able to win the GOLD at his pet event 3000m St.chase
