Qatar named 11 young athletes for Asian Junior Athletics Championship 2018

Qatar’s Athletics team will participate in the Asian youth and youth Championship, which will be held in Japan, from June 7 to 10.

Secretary-General of the federation and head of the mission Issa Al Fadalah said that the Qatari team has eleven players who will be looking to get a medal to showcase Qatar’s excellence in athletics. Al Fadalah said that the members of the team are Jabor Hilal, Saud Al Humaidi, Rashid Al Suwaidi, Abdulaziz Salem, Moaz Ibrahim, Ahmed Al Haj, Jalil Badawi, Basim Mohammed, Muhannad Khamis, Nouh Abdul Qader and Awab Osman.

The head of the mission said that the chances of the team are good in terms of getting results, especially that the current generation includes a group of talented people who have achieved many impressive achievements recently, and proved their position on the continental and international arena in the youth segment.
