(VIDEO) Baharain’s Salwa Eid Naser once again shattered 400m Asian record with 49.08 seconds
Baharain’s Nigerian import athlete Salwa Eid Naser once again lowered her own the Asian Record of 400m, this time clocking 49.08 seconds at the Monaco diamond league on Friday (July 20) .
Running on fast Conica track which saw World record of 3000m St.Ch shattering ,Salwa renewed the Asian records for the fourth time this year as she finished only behind the Olympic champion Shaunae MILLER-UIBO who clocked her personal best of 48.97 seconds .
Salwa the World championship Silver medalist ,originally hailing from Nigeria changed her allegiance to Bahrain as a teenager and excelled in athletics. Her major title came in last year when she won the silver medal at the IAAF World Championship in London . She has been in her prime this year shattering Asian record and her personal best four times so far during the diamond leagues.
