US based Sri Lankan Hiruni Wijeyaratne placed overall 39th with a performance of 2:38:36 at Indianapolis Monumental Marothon as the 2nd best performance by a Sri Lankan women in Marathon.

Hiruni currently holding the Sri Lanka record of Women’s marathon.
