GOMATHI , TWINKLE DIPS BELOW 2: 04 in 800M
The 800m saw new Champion as Gomathi Marimuthu, Twinkle Chaudhary dips below 2 minutes 04 seconds mark . Gomathi won the event with 2:03.21 while Twinkle came in second with 2:03.67 as both of them achieved AFI set Asian championship qualification standards of 2:05.00. ARCHANA ADHAV who finished first in the 2017 Asian Champion and later disqualified for disrupting other competitors in the race did not compete in the finals despite she qualifying for it .
