Olympic silver medalist , Ehsan Haddadi test positive for Covid19
|Iranian discus thrower Ehsan Hadadi has tested positive for the coronavirus that causes COVID-19.
The Olympic silver medalist is under self-quarantine after he tested positive for the virus.
“Ehsan has self-quarantined after he was diagnosed with the coronavirus,” Iran Athletic Federation’s doctor Ashkan Ordibehesht said.
“His recovery is going well,” he added.
Iran’s Health Ministry on Friday announced 144 new deaths from the novel coronavirus, raising the death toll to 2,378 across the country.
Hadadi won Silver medal in 2012 Olympic Games while he won the Gold medal in four Asian Games and six Asian Championship.
