UAE Athletics Grand Prix, Yupun and Nadeesha finished on the podium

Commonwealth Games medalist Yupun Abeykoon placed 3rd in the 100m Finals (10.18 seconds) at the UAE Athletics Grand Prix, marking his first 100m race after his injury.

Meanwhile, Nadeesha Ramanayake finished second in the Women’s 400m Finals (53.82 seconds).

Tharushi Karunaratne did not finish after 600m, and Gayanthika Abeyratne finished behind in the Women’s 800m Finals at the UAE Athletics Grand Prix 2024.
