|Biography

Aruna Darshana is Sri Lankan sprinter who won the Gold medals of the Asian Junior Athletics Championship (400M,4x400M) in 2018 and represented Sri Lanka in the IAAF World Junior championship . Darshana was ranked fourth going in to world junior championship but could not advance to the finals in the competition . Darshana was the SL team captain during the South Asian Junior , Asian Junior and World Junior championship in 2018. His performance of 45.79 seconds is best by Sri Lankan since 2006 and 4th overall in the all time list.

Athlete haling from Seruwawila , Kanthale is trained under Asanka Rajakaruna , School PTI in the Akuramboda CC .
