Dilip Ruwan

Dilip Ruwan is late bloomer in 400m who storm in to National arena winning the 2015 National Championship . Ruwan represented Sri Lanka in the 2015 Asian Championship as member of the 4x100m relay team running the start leg.

In 2016 he was part of SL 4X400m relay team who won Silver medal at the 4X400m while also secured individual bronze medal in the 400m event. After disappointing outing in the 2017 , Dilip clocked his personal best 46.46 seconds which mark an athlete running below 46.5 seconds for the first time since Prasanna Sampath Amarasekara. Ruwan also is the sixth fastest overall in Sri Lanka in his pet event 400m behind Sugath Thilakaratne, Rohan Pradeep Kumara, Prasanna Amarasekara, W.Wimaladasa and Ranga Wimalawansha.
