Hiruni is an Executive Team Leader for Target Corporation in USA. She works full time in retail sales for a large corporation in USA. She graduated from the University of Kentucky with a BA in Communication and Master of Business Administration (MBA). She currently resides in Colorado, USA where she works, and trains with world renowned coach Brad Hudson and Hudson Elite team.
Hiruni has represented Sri Lanka in the IAAF World Championship 2017, Asian Games 2018 , Commonwealth Games 2018 . She holds the National record of the women’s Marathon and 10000M .
