Ridma Nishadhi Kariyawasam is an up and coming Long Jumper hailing from Ambalangoda who shattered National Junior record with leap of 6.08m at the recently concluded National Athletics trials. her leap also was enough her to beat all the seniors and win the event as 18 year old .
Ridma trained by Chandimal Niroshan cleaned four titles in All island School Games, Sir John Tarbat Senior Championship , National Youth Sports festival and Junior Nationals last year . she also hold several school records .
